What’s Included?

Puzzles. Each colourful edition is printed on beautiful 150gsm paper and includes a variety of crosswords, Sudoku, word searches, mazes, anagrams and more. Every cover features a historical artwork, and the puzzles and content change every month to fit the edition’s theme, so there’s always something different to work through.

Artwork with a story. Each edition cover features a historical artwork sourced from museum collections and archives. Turn to the back page to discover more about the piece, including its history, origins and the story behind it.

Language Lessons. Every edition comes with a collectible card featuring a word or expression from another language, along with its meaning.

The Afterword. Three weeks after your edition is posted, you’ll receive an email with the puzzle answers, a psychoeducational piece from our resident psychologist, a bonus puzzle, my recommendations for the month and a sneak peek at the next edition. It’s a continuation of the printed edition, with a few extra things that didn’t make it to print.

How It Works

Step 1: Subscribe. Join the club to receive your monthly printed edition. Simple, recurring and easy to manage.

Step 2: Wait for the post. All editions are posted on the 15th of each month, so keep an eye on your letterbox.

Step 3: Get puzzling. Work through the puzzles at your own pace. There’s no need to finish everything in one sitting. Keep your edition on the coffee table, by your bed or wherever you like to do a little puzzling.

Step 4: Read The Afterword. Three weeks after mail-out day, the answers and a few extra things arrive in your inbox to keep you going until the next edition.

Important Dates

The cut-off: Place your first order by the 13th of the month at 11:59 pm AEST to receive that month’s edition. Orders placed after the cut-off will start with the following month’s release.

Mail-out day: All editions are posted on the 15th of each month, regardless of when you subscribed within the order window.

Shipping & Delivery

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot deliver to Parcel Lockers or via Parcel Collect.

Method: Editions are sent via Australia Post as untracked, regular mail. There is no tracking number.

Delivery time: Please allow 7–14 business days for delivery within Australia. These are estimates and delivery can take longer during busy periods.

Billing & Cancellations

Payments: Your subscription renews monthly on the same date you originally joined.

Flexibility: You can pause or cancel anytime through your customer account or by emailing hello@slowpressclub.com.

Refunds: To avoid being charged for your next edition, cancel before your next billing date. Once payment has been processed and we begin preparing your order, that month’s edition cannot be refunded.
